Created using heavy paste, resin, palladium flakes, and acrylic, the work is formed as a negative relief recessed into the panel. The sculpted surface plays with depth and shadow, responding to light in constantly shifting ways. Irregular, scaled patterns suggest the texture of crocodile skin—tough yet sensual, with rounded and squared impressions that alternate between tension and calm. The waxed and polished finish introduces a quiet lustre, while flecks of palladium add a soft iridescence that shimmers just beneath the surface.
