Wild Acacia

Wild Acacia draws from the rugged elegance of trees shaped by wild climates. Inspired by the distinct grain of bark weathered by wind, sun, and time, this piece is a meditation on contrast—light and dark, strength and fragility, beauty and ambiguity. Constructed as a three-dimensional sculpture using molding paste, acrylic, and mixed media, the surface is rich with layered textures that echo the organic patterns of wood grain. Carved ridges and grooves move across the panel like the surface of a tree trunk, shaped by unseen forces. Veins of 24ct gold leaf bring warmth to the piece, catching and shifting with the light. Interwoven silver details introduce a cooler tone, offering clarity and contrast in the darker areas.
